I love butterflies,  I really enjoy going to butterfly houses and watching them fly everywhere.  I really think its unfair of nature to have given such a beautiful creature such a short life span.  My one son attracts butterflies,  I don't know why but they land on him and will stay with him until he shoos them away.  I have several pictures from his childhood of butterflies and dragonflies resting on his hair or shoulders.  Yep, Mother's Moments.

Stamped with MFT things butterflies and used their matching  die cuts.   Embossed with Versa and black powder. Colored with Tim Holtz Distress Markers,  glitter over wings.  Doily is from Spellbinders,  DP Basic Grey,  bling from stash.

CHALLENGES:
Squirrel and the Fox: Sparkle
Challenge up your Life:  Book "Butterflies are Free"
Craft Your Days Away: Bingo  "Diecut, doily, gems"
Stampin Sisters in Christ: Your reflection in nature

Well my son made it safely to Germany,  and yes I cried at the airport.  I cried because I will miss him dearly but also because I know this is another phase of life when my children are no longer mine.  ( I also cried because I had to go back to work tomorrow)  Vacation over!!!!

Anyway,  Love how this card turned out.  I'm really in love with Vintage anything.  On Pinterest I spend hours searching for Vintage anything.  i'm also an avid reader, nothing beats my Nook!

Freebie image from Elizabeth Dulemba at Coloring Page Tuesday. I love getting her emails every Tuesday.  Tons of "always freebies" in many themes.  I colored this with Prisma pencils and Gamasol for shading.  I then used Tim Holtz distress markers on the grass and flower.  Sky was created with Sky Blue paint and a dabber.
DP is Basic Grey,  die cut is from Memory Makers.  My daughter and I both share the love of reading.  She will get this card eventually.

Challenges:  Both awesome blogs are on the right, check them out!
