Spring has teased us for a bit and now we are back to cold, damp, miserable weather. We actually had snow on the ground on Monday! Depressing.

Anyway this Digi by Faith at D2D, Ladybug Balancing Act is pretty Springy so I can hope..... Colored with Copics, I finally got my new Spring colors in, they are gorgeous. My texture was actually created by running my paper thru my crimper. I haven't used this tool in awhile, I love the effect. I then dry embossed the digi edges with Tim Holtz "Pumic" ink. My bottom ribbon is actually eyelet fabric with yellow gingham ribbon added to the center. My DP is by Basic Grey, Green at Heart. Sketch is from Deedee's Happy Monday challenge.

Not alot of playtime this weekend. Its my twins 17th birthday so we had alot of family time which is so special. Quick tag made from Deedee's digi Hello Sunshine. I created this tag for a
birthday gift bag. Colored and shaded with Copics, the LOTS of stickles on the cloud. DP by Basic Grey. Not bad for a quick project idea.

I love this image By Nina at PaperCupcakes, "Cute as a Bunny" This will make a great Easter Card. I played with this digi to enter it into her weekly Challenge: this weeks is a color challenge, Pink, Green, Yellow
Happy Butterfly Day!!!! OK I know there is no special day for Butterflies, but there should be, they are beautiful, a sure sign of summer and sadly this gift from nature only has a lifespan of about one month. Last week Card Ideas Blog, by the designers of D2D had a Create Your Holiday Challenge , I missed the deadline for my butterfly card so I created this card for the Dotty Challenge, and used my butterflies. This gorgeous image by Faith at Designed2Delight, Spotty Dotty Watering Can fit my dotty theme very well. My sketch is from Simon Says Challenge, (All blogs to the right)

I love it when I can do two things at one time!!!! Plus use up old stash! When I saw this digi by Deedee I knew I would use it on a layout for my youngest twin. Growing up he loved clowns, and at the age of 17 he still thinks they are pretty cool. Both of my twins had stuffed clowns when they were babies. My youngest twin called his "Clownie" and took it everywhere, when his Clownie was no longer functional he took his brothers which was almost new.

This is the only photo I have where all 4 of my children are genuinely smiling. I thought this digi set was perfect for this photo layout. Now to find something for my other three so maybe I could get 4 old photos put away....
