Sadly I think this card is my farewell to fall! We have had nasty weather these past few days, the heavy winds make me think of the January wind chill which is right around the corner and lingers forever....

This beautiful digi is by Faith at Designed2Delight part of her progressive challengre. Her badge is to the right. This digi is part of a great set which is on sale this week....

The background DP is by Basic Gray, Archaic, and the green is also from Basic Grey. The plaid is ancient but I thought it fit in well with the card. Image colored with copics, pop dots to lift image and pumpkin.

I was so inspired by Deedee's Thankful blog hop today...... I couldnt wait to play and make my card for her challenge.

My digi is Deedee's Thankful Bird, I use this image so often I love the simple elegance of it. Colored with Coopics and image sprayed with bronze glimmer mist, distressed with Chestnut Roan. Cut with Spellbinders. As I stated the blog hop inspired me and I finally made a Folded Gate Card, it was so simple, and I love the look. Plus I got to play with my new MS scoring board. All my papers are from basic Grey, Green at Heart. flowers are by Prima.

I confess, Im not much of a cat lover but I do LOVE black cats with green eyes. I have fought having a pet in my house for 20 years plus. My oldest son went with his girlfriend to a pet shelter and fell in love with a kitten. After he dragged me there I discovered it was a black kitten with green eyes only 4 weeks old. Need I say more.....
Hershey is AWESOME and my son takes care of her 24/7....
Digi is by Glitterbabe, when I saw the digi I had to buy it. Colored with Copics. Bling on eyes and button from Imaginesque. Orange glitter paper is from Archivers, punch is EK success, all else is stash.

Yesterday my husband and I took some well needed vacation time and spent the day at Edwards Apple Orchard up in Popular Grove, Il. We have been going here for 24 years now, my kids have so many wonderful memories of our days spend there picking pumpins, taking hay or pony rides, playing in the hay and corn maze feeding the animals, etc. My sons were really upset that we were going on a school day and they could not come with....

My house smells of fresh apples and cheese. I was so motivated when we came home that I baked apple muffins and apple crisp.... YUMMY! thanks to my sons all is gone...

Naturally my apple picking day motivated me to make this Apple Harvest Card for a couple of challenges. the digi is by Deedee at Deedee's Digis, (Check her badge on my right,). I altered the digi by removing the pig, then colored it with copics, the DP is by BG Stella Ruby, punch is by EK success, all else is from my pile of goodies.

Following Challenges: Deedee's Digis: Harvest Theme
Simon Says: Inspiration from Fall Photo
Basic Grey: Sketch
